Like many, my love affair with the 911 started as a young boy in the mid 70s. Each day, on the way to school I passed an early 2.7 RS parked on the front drive a short distance from my home. I was clearly oblivious to its significance at the time.

My love affair was rekindled in the late 80s when I fleetingly saw a brand new Guards Red 964 in my home town. At the time, the car cost more than the flat I had just bought as my first home! I vowed at that time to buy one for my 40th birthday if i hadn’t been able to afford one before. And so, in 2004, aged 39 I bought a 1990 964 Carrera 2S. It has been a fantastic companion, brought me enormous pleasure and now set me on a path to create the perfect combination of old and new.
